Route to Indy MotoGP from DC area

Post by Firebolter »

I guess this is really for Kyler and Wingbreaker....... :poser:

We'll meet up at the Sheetz at haymarket which is US15 and I66. Would like to meet up at 0600
From there we head out Hwy 55W/48 all the way to Wardensville

At Wardensville we take US 48/259/55W to Moorefield

At Moorefield take 220S to Petersburg
At Petersburg take 42 to 28/55W to Seneca Rocks

At Seneca Rocks US33W to Buckhannon and then continue US33/119 to Linn

At Linn, a awesome road, 47W to Parkersburg where we pick up US 50 and eat lunch after we get on 50 (should get to lunch between 12 and 1230).

Then US 50 to Cincin and I74 up to Indy. We should arrive by 6-7 pm with a 10min stop at each fuel stop and 30-45 min for lunch stop.

This is a fun route in the morning and easier in the PM, plus after West Va, it is mostly flat anyway, so nice to just blast it out to Indy.

T-59 days buddies!

Let me know. I am kicking it around. I will definitely stay at Ronan's place in Steven's City if I don't do the hotel. His place is about 45 minutes away from the meeting spot.
