Saturday was a good day for me but Sunday was even better.

I thought the conditions were perfect Saturday. The soil hadn't dried out completely and there was zero dust!

Sunday I flew solo. I had not finished a complete Hammer due to slow groups or me being worn out. This year I set a comfortable pace and rarely stopped. I did everything except the hero section.

The only incident I had was some bozo stuffed me Sunday while I was trying to get off the course and let him pass. The bike suffered a broken tail light. Could have been worse so I guess I'm lucky!

I'll post the few pictures I took tonight.

No problem, hope you weren't too sore today. Sorry I didn't stick with you guys, I went off trying to keep up with some DAMN guy on a 2-stroke and wore myself out. After that the blacktop was looking good, and I cruised back to camp.

John,

I saw you take that right turn to the roadway. I was right around the turn to the left but was unable to get your attention. I knew the other DAMN guys were talking about leaving so I thought they might do the same so I motored on.

Eventually, I hooked up with some guys from "competition dirt riders" who were setting a good pace until my dirty fuel filter forced me to drop back. It was a blast chasing those guys through the fire cut trails.

The worst part about it jay's new ride is someone has to follow behind him to hit the remote kill switch if he gets out of control.

Great ride!

I love this ride!
