I'm still working it out. Seems to be in the carb, hopefullly its the main jet, but I haven't seen any dirt. I'm going to get some carb cleaner tomorrow and spray it out. We'll see. Beyond that I'm stumped. Any ideas why it would run then stall? I wish you were closer Rob, I'd bring it over to you.

The "Upper Mertens" parking area is where the ORV trail crosses Mertens Avenue at the top of the ridge. Near campsite G7 if you look at the official Green Ridge map.

I'm going to get some carb cleaner tomorrow and spray it out.

Does your petcock have a vacuum line running to it and a position marked "PRI". If so, did you try running it on prime? Whichever kind of petcock you have, take a quick second to make sure the fuel flows freely from the tank before tearing into the carb.

Well Chris, the upper Mertens lot is a lot closer than the Ranger Station, if you have to push your bike or ride pillion.

Don't think I can go this weekend. I'd still be up for a Monday trip if anyone is up for it. Mike?...
