Dang, that's unfortunate. Same thing as last year; another tuff decision awaits. It really pisses me off when I have to decide between two kick-ass rides scheduled on the same day. :boohoo:
You will have just ridden 5 days of Gods country and spent 60 hours on the road....some how the need to ride either event might be a tad lower on your "must do" meter.
I hear ya, but I actually picked the dates for CO in order to keep this weekend open. Michaux is one of my favorite DS rides; I love rocks that much!!

Hmmmm.. Michaux and Green Ridge are rocky-meaning--> no sand or soft dirt

Shade Mt and Taskers are ROCKY-meaning -->all rocks, all the time

I rode many years in the south, mostly sand. So, yeah rocks are new to me.

LOL! So No sand = rocks hehehehe Truthfully, its weird going back south to ride sand, no traction & when you slow down its scarey! Rocks seem to give traction & front much lighter, Feels like bike has more ponies! Just so its not like the garden at Erzberg!
