KLR 250 help
I'm working on my KLR. Among other things, I cut a big hole in the top of my airbox and pulled the baffle from the exhaust in an attempt to get more air flowing. I know I need to rejet the carb now, but I've never done any sort of carb work and I have no idea how. Anyone want to help or give some pointers? What sizes should I start with and so forth...

Re: KLR 250 help
Sorry I cant give any actual help. But check out thumpertalk.com they have a klr specific forum where there is probably some good knowledge.

Re: KLR 250 help
I had a KLR and I enlarged the air box too. Actually I enlarged it too much and had a terrible time getting the jetting right. Good luck!

Re: KLR 250 help
A needle/washers,mains and instructions. The Dynojet kits rely heavily on the needle which makes them very adjustable from idle on up.
Re: KLR 250 help
What year 250? If Im not mistaken Kawi and Suzuki had pretty much identical 250s in the 90s, I may be able to help based off of DR/KLR250 compatability.
