RAC Friday 4/5/13

A co-worker and I are heading up to RAC to get our permits and ride for the day. Would anyone like to join us? It will be our first time there so we will just be exploring unless we find a guide.

If you find that you like it so much on Friday that you intend to come back Saturday 4/6, I would be glad to join you then.

Got my permit in the mail and have yet to use it. Would also be exploring, as I've never been there either.

I would love to stay and ride but I am going to the Hershey bears game Saturday. I rode at trevorton a lot the past two years and enjoy the terrain, so I'm pretty sure I will like RAC. I plan to start going more often once my weekends free up and the weather is warmer. I'll continue to post when I'm going and hopefully will get a chance to meet up with you and others from the site.

I think this is a great idea.

My understanding of RAC is that there's tons of fun stuff to ride, it's just a matter of understanding where it all is. It's too massive for one person to sort through on his own. It would be great to get some GPS files, but so far I haven't had much luck finding that stuff online, but will keep looking. Eventually I'll make some of my own.

Had great weather and got a couple hours of riding in on Friday. Took us almost two hours at the RAC office. They are requiring insurance on trail bikes now, and it took a while to get that set up.
