MAVT New Windsor Trials Event Oct 13th

I rode this event last year. It is a great property and alot of fun. They have classes for Vintage and Modern, so all are welcome. Come on out, I'll be there!

yeah, saw that. It has rained here as well all day yesterday and all night last night. I woke up at 0530 this morning and it was raining good for about 2 hours. Heavy then light, then heavy then light. Supposed to be like this tomorrow as well. If it rains most of the day tomorrow, I might bail.........if it is muddy everywhere, on every section, it just becomes no fun at all riding around in pissing rain. So far they "say" Sunday will be less rain, but this system has stalled and will be around alittle longer they they originally forecasted I think. Oh well! Fridge full of good Belgian Triples!!!!!

]Just got an email from Johnny, the New Windsor Trials event scheduled this SUnday, 13 Oct has been postponed to the following weekend, 20th Oct. Johnny knows that is the same day as the R&T Trials Open house, but that is the only weekend he can make work. Bummer!

Shame the open house could not be Saturday and trials event sunday.

New Windsor Trials has been re-sched to this coming Sunday 20 Oct and the R&T Trials Open House has been re-sched to Sunday Nov 3! Hopefully the weather gods will be good to us!

Weather looks good this weekend. Sunday mid 60's and some clouds with Sun. Should be perfect for the event!

Great Event! Weather was perfect. Conditions were a little slippery but it actually got better as the day went on!

Bill Brennan got 5th, Dan Barrick got 3rd and I got 2nd.

The best part was watching the guys on the vintage bikes riding the 1 line. Pretty awesome stuff.
