I'm doing a KLX650 front end on my KLR250. Tracking numbers show that everything should be here by Wednesday. That means I'll have Wednesday and Thursday to put it back together before returning to work on Friday and probably Saturday as well.

So I am hoping to make it out on Sunday; are all these broken bikes fixed yet? Who might be there on Sunday for me to chase around?

Well, I got mine mostly together but not well enough for this ride. I'm missing the fork guards still and I can't run something like this with USD forks and no guards. The brake line is already flopping around without the fork guards to secure it.
I opted to work OT on Saturday now and I'm still getting over being sicker than a dog. I'm going to have to miss this year's ride but I'll look for something else coming up soon. I really want to try out the new KLX suspension on my KLR.

Hope to see some of you out there.
I'll be the OFG with the cute little dog, daughter and wife along + a Freeride and Beta Trials bikes.
Forecast is a few showers Sunday AM to settle the dust then nice cool weather for the rest of the weekend

I'm probably not going to be there. I still need to drain and replace the fork oil in my KTM and hope that fixes the massive oil spill that happened last weekend.

Update: I'll definitely be there Sunday. I guess the wife expected me to be going, so I'll make sure the KTM is fixed or I'll take the SM with knobbies.

I got home last night after a long week to find the wrong parts. Thus I will stay home and fume or ride the Tuono Sunday.

Similarly, I am having problems fixing the KTM and last night I discovered my brand new tank on the drz leaks so I am waiting for them to receive my email and send me a new one. I could have put the old one back on, but I decided to admit defeat and drink wine with the wife instead.

As I was driving home today from picking up Little Caesar's, I saw the R&T sign on 522 pointing towards the event and my heart sank a little. I wanted to go, but I'm sleep deprived, sick, and didn't quite have the bike ready anyways. At least I got 24 hours of OT yesterday.
So did anyone actually wind up going?
