DAMN Riders - No rules, Just ride!

Hello,

I am looking to get into trials riding this year. I have been to several vintage trials events and really think i want to give it a try.

Anyone know of any good trials bikes for sale in the area? i am in the fredeick / hagerstown area.

People that might know of bikes for sale will need to know if you want a vintage bike or a modern bike.

Im leaning toward modern.

I like vintage bikes and if i found a good one it might be hard not to pick it up. but have been told by many riders that learning the sport will be easier on a modern bike.

Need a budget.
Plenty of new bikes available.
Have a couple guys still on the list looking for the $2500 - $3500 bike, they move fast and are normally spoken for even before placed on the market.

That is about the range i am looking ... used 2000 to 3000 . Looking for something to get into the sport.

Go to the vendors section and PM Maryland Mototrials (Dan) to add you to his long list of guys wanting a 2-3k bike.
When something hits the market that strikes you be ready to jump. Many guys just like you looking for that entry level bike price range.

The first post is a scorpa that looks as new for 3k that is located in Hershey Pa.
MotoJunkie has about a bazillion hours on his and still running strong (Yamaha engine).
This bike looks as if it resided in the garage for the majority of its life.

Picked up a 2009 sherco 290.
Rode the "beg" class at candytown. Had a blast. Let me know if anyone is in the frederick/hagerstown area and wants to get together to practice
