Skinny - I feel what you're saying. So maybe the dude that sent the email (I don't know him) was from Meteor and should not send such a negative email. THey're shootin' themselves in the foot. I've got 2 young kids and can't spare a day to ride "just to support". Sorry Bud but I just can't do that as much as I want to. Last year all I could spare (as a helper) was 1 day to help cut trails for PaTRA. Other than that, I want to have fun riding. Plus I'm a sissy and hate whoops...as I'm a Southern PA boy. :whoop:

In that case, you'd never want to do any enduros in southern NJ to begin with. No matter what trails they use, there's going to be whoops.

I had fun at the Sandy Lane Enduro. True, the course wasn't as hard as it was three years ago, but the event was very well run and there were still challenges to be had. Before leaving for the event, I had an inkling that the course wasn't going to be as intense as it was at my last visit, but I went to support the club and have fun and honestly, the course itself was much better than I expected. I've done the "pay money just to support a cause" thing and not had fun. I definitely had fun at this event and one section in particular was very, very satisfying. Everyone came out of there with tired grins.

That said, I do support the efforts to de-restrict the trails available to NJ motorcycle events.

Thanks,

~Patrick
