This was my first race in 30C which starts a few rows deep so I found myself stuck in traffic a lot more than I was before when running 200 which was the first row up until this year.

Yup, over the hill now that I can enter age based classes
Fun facts, in 2016 I was usually around 20-25 minutes behind the class winner in 200C (which was usually the overall winner or very close to it) and in this first race in 30C I found myself only 8 minutes behind 1st place. His time would have put him 10th in the 200 class at this race, so those DAMN kids are flying.

They are just fast/no fear and coming straight out of the early morning/kids race, which the next step up from that is 200 (or 250) C. They are just crazy fast and quite a few of them will end up in B class after 1 year.

Fast/ no fear is right. The ones who dont place well often drop out bc they have bloody crashes or destroy their bikes
