From the flyer this sounds pretty bad-ass.

"No trials tires allowed, they do not work well on downhills and we will have downhills"

50 bikes lined up side by side; dead-start run to your bike.

Kinda the PA version of the Tough-one.

Could be an interesting one to Spectate...

Screw them, I like my trials tires. Im not one of the fast guys who just locks their brakes and slides down the descents.
I think Im too cheap and lazy to put on a knobby just for this.

Screw them for the attitude in general: "no trials bikes, no trials tires."

Not that I'd want to do it on a trials bike, but I sure don't like being told I can't do something, much less paying money to be told I can't do something.

And the trials tire thing, sounds like they don't understand how brakes OR trials tires work.

But hey, I'm probably not the rider they were looking for anyway.

Just read the rules and had to laugh....no trials bikes...what a bunch of pussies.
This is a race of speed not how many times you put your feet down.
Just makes me smile that they feel trials bikes and trials tires have an advantage.
Jay just show up with your killer stud tire and tell them they best bring more medics.
Coal dust and July heat...I think not for this fat old man.
What sort of pisses me off is I wanted SPER to skip the hare scramble and do a last man standing event like this...all I got was no one likes "hard events" they want "fast and fun".
So how many NJ sand riders will sign up for this :killingme:

He'll I'm in for this for sure. This sounds awesome. I wonder what they will say about my equilibrium tire.... Lol.

Also I can attest that at least mt-43 and vee rubber trial tires suck on steep loose coal Hills.

Full sized motorcycle required 18” or 19” rear, 21” front
So the 17" rear guys and 19" front guys are excluded because...? The rules make no sense.

I think you see that the wrong way. The trials bikes aren't a threat. There in the fookin' way of a bunch of 50 HP weapons.
