Hey Guys and Girls

Green Marble Enduro Riders offers up a fun fun fun Hare Scrambles the DOGTOWN 50 on June 6th (youth) and June 7th for Adult classes.

We were there this past weekend and what a beautiful place. Just camping and working the set up was fun, spectating will be a blast. There will be great spectating, food, the grill, the bonfire, a killer night sky, lets hope, and overall good times at The Boyer's Farm Slanesville, WV. 2.5 hours from the Baltimore Washington Area

The track is perfect, loads of golf course quality grass track over rolling hills. Plenty of wide areas for easy passing with lots of flowing turns to keep the speeds down. Gorgeous wood sections with every type of terrain except no sand !!!, traction is absolute even in the grass tracks very confidence building. Long challenging but all makeable courses for the youth classes (3and 4 miles) and just triple that for the adults (10 miles ++), lots of classes, District 6 and ECEA hare scrambles series point paying event.

If new to hare scrambles this would be a great first race. Grab your MX boots Helmet goggles gloves and other protection of your choice. Come camp and hang out with us Saturday afternoon evening, we will hook you up with some pointers and such. Race the morning race in a suitable class for your bike and so on. Have a blast. Be sore until Tuesday and love every second of it.

The main attraction of Romney is the river, there are a whole bunch of different parks around, the one just outside of Romney has a miniature golf course. On a clear night the sky is amazing, just far enough away from the big city lights to get a killer view. Shooting stars are a routine occurrence.

Romney is centrally located to a lot of great riding. If you do want to explore on your own here's a few ideas along with the approximate mileage from Romney.
65 miles Rt 72 video
83 miles Spruce Knob
54 miles Dolly Sods
16 miles Oldtown Low Water Bridge video
57 miles Black Water Falls
62 miles Seneca Rocks
52 miles WV/VA Border Crossing near Mathias, WV
74 miles Harpers Ferry video

there is also a scenic train ride http://www.potomaceagle.info/ in Romney
