I'm glad it wasn't worse, Jed. I know from experience that just for a regular carpal tunnel release there's quite a bit of trauma (you can watch the regular surgery on youtube to see). Are you going to have to miss a bunch of work?

After seeing Jed's arm in a cast, glad I did....

I don't have much leave left after my finger injury last year, so I'm putting in for non-service connected light duty. They'll find me a daywork desk job until I'm healed. It's not ideal, but it's full pay and better than nothing.

Other than Jed's mishap it was a great weekend of riding with old friends. Big thanks to Pat and Jay for keeping me fed and . Jay, please thank your wife again,who is the rice crispy treat queen!
Hopefully I can be around if you make it back for a second trip or if anyone else decides to come and visit. Jed I hope you feel better and get well soon.

Major bummer Jed. I thought my broken ribs back in March were bad but WOW that sounds pretty bad.

Sorry I had to miss this weekend. The last two times I went to Mt Ridge I have never been aboe to find any of the new single track. I would love to go back later this season and ride it (with someone to serve as my guide).
