Jay, that sounds like the same deal I got last year. They did waive the 10 people at one time part, I think. I'm guessing you and I will be caravaning there so how early Friday can you leave? Also, I'd be happy to make the pot luck chili again, in the interest of your tender tummy I'll leave the habanero pepper out....maybe. :lol2:

Yeah. :-/ The carb was super gummy. I'm hoping that maybe it's just that they didn't set the fuel air mixture when they cleaned it, and not that the rings are bad, but it fouls plugs *fast*.

The carb was so bad, I gave in to have it professionally cleaned. And I didn't notice the tank is so rusty it needs to be replaced (or good fuel filter and I'll sell it, I suppose, if it comes to that).

Does the klx300 tank fit the 250? I had a pumper carb on my 300. Completely turned around the lazy power delivery.

No idea. I'm currently running it from a fuel line fed through a funnel to avoid the rust.

I was wondering this morning if maybe the smog line was causing the fouling? I'll try capping that off and see if maybe that helps.

Thanks,

The kids have school so we will probably grab them around lunch time and hit the road. Probably something like 1pm for a 4-ish arrival. And for the record, the habanero pepper completely dissolved in the chili; that's how potent it was!

That chili was GOOD. The habenaro made it what it was.
