This is a perennial DAMN Riders favorite!

At the moment I'm planning on going. I think I would like another crack at doing this as a "true dualsport" and ride my 650 to the event and home again.

Hmmmm ... I'm thinking of taking the FZ-09 Adventure and doing the same thing.

Hey Ken...you've been there before...mostly gravel roads...cut out the options and it should be an easy ride for the adventure FZ

ya, that was what I was thinking. The ride at Granville's showed me it has heart - the rider?

Entry form is filled out. Need another payday to roll by before it gets mailed.

So, would this be fun on a little bike (e.g., the xtrainer)? I'm excited that I can legitimately do some dual sports now. ;)

Yes, it would be excellent for that bike. As long as you're plated you'll have a great day ahead of you.

Cool, now the bigger question is whether I can do a ride the weekend before my 25th wedding anniversary (on the 24th).
