DAMN Riders - No rules, Just ride!

Anybody gonna be around on Saturday? Thinking about coming up for the day with the Mrs to get her some seat time; but it would be great to rip off at least one lap with the big dogs.....

Hard cast comes off on the 15th, then PT so I can use my fingers and wrist again. I'm hoping to be able to pull a clutch in about 3 weeks.

Take the day off and ride Friday

As of now Stacey and I are planning to come out around mid day Thursday.

I may also come out again Friday w/o Stacey (IF Stacey hasn't worn the OLD guy out too much Thursday) and bring the RZR along.
The QOFE and Bandit are in MAYBE status???

I'll post again once plans get firmed up here.

What time are people planning on getting started on Friday?

Great day out at Grandville's as usual.

I had an army buddy just come home from Iraq and he has to leave for a two year assignment out in Washington state in a few weeks. He was badly needing a dirtbike fix, so I invited him out to Barton. He also just had a shoulder surgery/procedure so he couldn't actually ride. Luckily, Sam really saved us by bringing his RZR for us to play with. I did a quick lap and a half on the bike then Steve and I got turned loose in the RZR.
I hadn't driven the RZR in several years and even then it was just a quick little ride w/ my wife or kid in the passenger seat. Steve and I had such a great time exploring the Jeep trails in the pines. We did hillclimbs, blasted through puddles (almost got swallowed by one), and almost couldn't get that thing stuck. Till we got semi-lost over near the BillyGoat trail. We went down a very steep slope and had trouble getting back out. We tested Sam's winch.

Anyway, we had a great time. Thanks to everyone who helped me give an army guy a great day out riding (or driving whatever...)
