99% of Granville's place is single track and some 2-track. The surrounding area has a lot of gravel roads.

I'll come out for a day with my FZ-09 Adventure

I work on May 7th. I should be able to come out for a ride on the 6th. I might try to come out on the evening of the 5th even.

Looks like the turn out last weekend was pretty big. Are we expecting a similar turnout for this ride?

I'm hopefully finishing my bike tomorrow and plan to attend.

Perhaps my family and friends couple will come too, but they have no bikes so I wanted to know what's out there for a support group :)
What they can do there while we ride? We all will be there for a first time, so any interesting places will work :)
My wife loves fishing, anyone knows where she could go (and how to get a license)? Are there places with high chance to see wildlife? Horses?

:lol2: Look it up on Google earth...it's in the middle of nowhere :deal:

Good for riding. Not so good for family waiting while you ride. :lol2:

Bring 'em out. EZ up, couple of chairs and a good book and they will be all set.

There are interesting places around there, well depending on your interest, Deep Creek Lake rents boats and they do have a public beach area, Savage River Reservoir flows into the Potomac, that's a pretty scenic loop to drive from the property and it appears to be nice for kayaking, Dan's Mountain is on the way in and has one of the best overlooks in the state, but kind of remote. All of that stuff is within 30 to 45-min of the property.

Wildlife tends to scatter or take cover when we have 30 bikes ripping around. I have spotted bear, deer, turkey and coyotes multiple times. There is a farmer somewhere that use to let his horses roam. They could be a bit intimidating at times. I don't see them so much anymore.

The truth is you will never know what you think you see until you are there.

My interest tends to be the single track and the endless twists of joy in brings me, my family and my friends.
