I'm coming on Sunday. Will try to get there around 8:30 so I can be ready for 9:00. Or should I go camping as well?
Have to depart from DC at 6:00-6:20 to be there on time..

What do you do on camping evenings like these? Drink beer  and grill meat or what? :)

That was my plan. I'm gonna call and make sure camp fires are not an issue. I'm gonna try to camp a camp6 but I didn't know it existed till bdmaha mentioned it. I will report back after I call today.

Camp 6 is only my favorite place to park an RV. Close to office there are full campsites with power, toilets, showers and every site has a fire pit. They sell firewood too. There are other campsites all over the mountains.

$17 to camp. 100 site to choose from. I was thinking of getting there whenever the weather wizards say its supposed to stop raining, Set up camp, throw something on the grill/fire pit and pop the top on something tasty.
