I'm still on the fence because of how the weather has been. I'm 4 for 5 on being buried in the mud at a hangover race :censored:
Sounds tempting. What can be better than to exhaust yourself on a ride :lol2:

But it's too late to change plans now.
I'm gonna ride at the Cove tomorrow. Will be there around 11am :)

I will go to a hare scramble one day. Have to see how does it look like from inside

Maybe 3 years ago I went to Wicomico in Decmber with my noob friend to ride the woods trail.
After my buddy was wore out I was riding by myself. On the woods trail I found part of the harescramble course and let myself onto to for a little pre-ride test.
It was pretty awesome. Fun single track throught the woods.

However, the substrate is kinda soft and sandy. I can only imagine how insanely tore up the track gets with a few hundred MX bikes racing through. Especially if its wet

I've never been to the Cove. Where should I meet up at?

From the office straight ahead there's a sign "ATV". Then first left (or second? I remember there was a blue trail marker to the right on the crossroads where you have to turn left and I think a red marker to the parking lot) and there's a rocky parking lot. I'm gonna be in my white 2004 Toyota Sequoia with hitch hauler and a 350 KTM SixDays on it.

I was heading to the Hangover race today, but a dodgy brake caliper had me coming back. It unfucked itself about the time I got back to town so I figured I'd risk it and head to the Cove today.

Turns out I had Nobody to ride with :lol2:

We ran about 15 miles and called it a day. The lower section of the blue trail is a swampy disaster once you get clear of the rock garden and was just swallowing our bikes up. After getting past that I went to ride up the creek a bit to knock off the mud and found it was unexpectedly soft on the bottom and nearly got stuck there too

Ford right? I just traded my F250 for that same reason. Both rears fucked up and twice the fronts left me stranded. Stupid shit. Nice day to ride with Nobody.

That blue trail was fun today :)
The hill climb was very nice to me today and I made it from the first attempt. Then Joe showed me a nice, but not fully legal Overlook  Climb there was great fun too :)

And the mud and creek in the end made me laugh :lol2: No pics from there, unfortunately.

P.S.Let me know if there's a problem with pics. Hopefully you can see them.

Pics work for me, nice!

I was thinking this afternoon how nice the weather was and how dissappointed I felt having to be at some family holiday party...
