they are starting to build on the inside of the top cover





Lots of bees, I was kinda nervous doing this by myself. Not sure if I was smoking them enough

This was a swarm my friend caught. It was right next to his bee yard, so he is pretty sure its from on of his. He gave me some frames that already have some drawn out wax/comb.
Was my first inspection. I'm not sure how much was done before or not. Some of the frames had very little done one them. I"m assuming those were completely empty frames ten days ago.

I was wearing a jacket and veil/hood. But I had bare hands. I didn't get stung so I guess I did it well enough.
My buddy doesn't wear any equipment at all when he does his inspections. Says he gets stung every once in a while but not too often.

The bees are cool! I've seen a few articles on people taking their bees on the road to pollinate crops and making good side money doing so (or not just side money in the case of bigger operations).
