As long as the single track is paved, I'm good

Got my system up and running. Mostly a hodge podge of parts I had on hand but even before tuning it sounds 1000% better than stock.

Still need to tidy up some wiring and will eventually do sound deadening (front doors got some work while I was in there for the woofers)

Pods are from customspeakerpods.com, the aiming isnt perfect but they work and are cheaper/easier than full custom pods

This is the next part. All I've done so far is some basic time alignment.

Image

CDT tweeters
Focal 3" mids
Image Dynamics 6.5" woofers
JL TWK 88 DSP
JL XD600/6 (running front 3 way)
JLXD400/4 (bridged for sub duties)
Pioneer slim 10" sub/box (will be replaced with something better eventually, just something I had around and it fit under the back seat with no mods)

Kraco and some Jensen 6x9's and I'm ready to rock...but you do you.

Finally got around to welding the tabs in place for the ram on my trailer. Waiting on a new jack and a winch to arrive now.

Welded up a weld-it-yourself bumper kit for my 4Runner project. It's in primer now waiting on my bedliner kit to arrive. I have a back bumper and tire carrier to build, too.

Actually a decent looking bumper compared to most of those things. Who makes the kit?

Coastal Offroad up in Canoodia. The back is a really high clearance kit that immensely improves the angle of departure for this generation 4Runner. It has an integrated hitch, too.

Changing the tires on the 701 in preparation for the NEBDR. Taking off the oem TKC80s and spooning on Tusk DSport Adventures. That was the plan at least. Today I learned:
1) These tires have REALLY stiff sidewalls. Dog help me if I ever have to fix it on the trail. :frustrated:
2) 701 has a cush drive
3) said cush drive doesn't hold down a tire spoon very securely when you try to hook them under it.
So I probably have a scar now. :censored:
I'm hot, tired, the shade is gone, and its lunchtime. I'll do the front tire tomorrow.
Lesson learned: I should have gone riding w/ Phil today.
