The B&B is booked. 27th-4th. FL here we come! Need to figure out how to hang the ~14' kayak inside the van this weekend.
Ordered a Shinko 540 earlier this week. Hope that's decent enough.
Phoo, yeah I understand sand is going to get everywhere. Bike is going to have to get a thorough cleaning/teardown when it comes back. I read most places recommend not lubing your chain - or just using silicone spray on it.

Not enough time to get it ready unfortunately. Skid plate/etc won't be here in time. I've decided to take the 150XCW since its >20kg lighter than my older 500 (and Dan's 2016 500!). Knowing him, we'll be picking up and pulling the bikes out plenty.

I'll try! I have on my 'todo list' to mount my other quadlock mount on the 150 so I can get to my cellphone cam quick. I also have a rugged Olympus TG6 pocket cam that should survive me repeatedly falling on it.

lots and lots of exposed roots, or roots just plain stick out pointing toward you..
suppose of the soft terrain, first thing I noticed when I was riding at Croom. Also vines tough as nails that like to wrap around your wheel

I said "etc";) Most critical things are ordered except the full wrap handguards. I'll destroy controls w/ the flimsy stock guards (BTDT.) Not settled on which ones to get yet. I have the BRP hand guard mounts on one of the other bikes and it runs into the clutch hose pretty bad (I need to cut it for some clearance still so there is no sharp edge.) Takes a lot of custom bending of the guard bars to get everything to fit too. Maybe the Cycra bar clamp mounts or even their triple mounts fit better. I've ordered a Clake Prolever which may complicate fitting things but won't know until I have it in hand.
