The KTM is leaking oil at the stator cover gasket from me taking it off last week. RTV didn't fix it, so I'll ride it some but probably not the whole time.

Is it 131307002835 ? The stator cover gasket for my 2009 250 XC-F was delivered today.

Nope. 77530042000. There's another gasket behind the back half of the ignition cover that I suspect is the actual problem, though I did see a break in the outer gasket too. The inner is 77530040000. I had to remove both halfs of the ignition cover to get enough wiggle room on the starter to pull it out. I'll go ahead and replace both gaskets now and make sure there are no more leaks in there. But that can wait until after the trip. The only problem riding the Honda will be the lack of cooling fan.

I went down to our usual camping location. They put up board dividers to section off the "tent camping only" area down there. Each area has a tent camping site number now. It was empty, so I picked a site in our usual area, unhitched the popup, and went up to the office to pay. Apparently every single site down there has been reserved for this weekend. I don't believe the very large woman who was less than pleasant with me, but alas, we can't camp down in our usual spot according to her.


So, we're up top near the entrance to the place. I figured it was sufficiently far enough from the office that the day riders aren't parking all around us. The grass is mowed where we are. There's a fire ring. There's a porta-pot nearby and not a lot of people nearby (so far). It's actually quieter here than where we normally camp. The in/out road is here, but there aren't muddy 4-wheelers with no mufflers screaming past us. If you're inclined to hang out with us, here's where the DAMN campsite is for this weekend:

Great to see many of y'all again! And big thanks to those conversing with my shy better half in the van. I wish I would have been there earlier to catch up with some of the other DAMN members. Also thanks for the chili offer, next year I'll take you up on it and I'll pack some extra Lysol.

Good riding with good folks. It was a bit dusty.
The ST was good, beaten in and beat up in some places.

We had some discussion about how MR is changing and if we wanted to continue to have our annual get together at this place.
