Good deal! I think the one I found was created by an individual as opposed to a state DOT like the Va is you found.Marylander wrote: ↑Thu Jan 14, 2021 9:06 pmSeems like there are lot more dirt roads in loudoun county. Check out the VA map:

Cool stuff. With a new (to me) dualsport in the shed, I'll be making more of an effort to get out and ride some dirtroads this season.Firebolter wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 7:03 am

Re: Frederick and Carroll County Dirt Roads
What would be nice would be a map that included forest roads too. I don't know if you can still get the maps from Delorme and such that put those roads in a specific color. I haven't bought a paper map in more than 20 years... Kind of sad, actually.
I used to look at them to find interesting routes you wouldn't likely find today. There are so many neat "roads" in the va/wv mountains nearby.
While searching for dirt roads another thing that might help is looking for sites with bicycle routes. That's actually what I use the dirt/gravel roads for near home.
