I did a Maine tag on my 2 strokes for a couple of years. Most people use these guys, they are located in Maine obviously. They have all theinfo you need to get a trailer tagged.

I've been dragging my feet making the trailer I picked up from Marylander legal... I just sent in my paperwork for these guys https://mainetrailerregistrations.com/.

Virtually a carbon copy of Bill's recommendation. Main thing you gotta do is send a notarized limited power of attorney.
