Did you fill out the volunteer form?
I'll keep y'all in the loop wrt work weekends and other times when help is needed. The big push is the weekend of the events. It's usually a 3-4 day deal for the volunteers. Mark your calendars.

DVTR is planing on a couple of work days at Tuscarora this weekend. Weather dependent. Hiking and cutting trail. If you signed up to volunteer, you should get an email. If not and you are a member and interested let me know.

Save the dates. Proposed DVTR work weekend dates.
23-34 April (probably Michaux)
7-8 and 21-22 May
4-5 June
16-17 July. (probably Tuscarora)
Depending on work needed and amount of volunteers (and DCNR approval) work days will be Blain/Tuscarora SF (for Foggy Mtn Enduro) or Michaux.
Come one day or both. Some riding; but initially mostly hiking and trail clearing/tree cutting.
Keep tabs on DVTR website/emails (if you signed up to volunteer) and maybe DVTR FB. And here.

Here are our initial trail clearing dates. These are definitely happening. We mostly need help on foot but there will be some riding. some of our proposed dates were denied so we're working on additional dates.
Please bring any sort of trimmer, saw, hatchet, machete, safety glasses, etc if you have them but we most just need able bodied people who want to spend a day in the woods with good people preping for great events:
4/2-3: focused weekend to clear some larger fallen trees at Foggy
If you known how to cut big stuff or want to learn how this is your weekend
5/21-22: likely Michaux
6/4-5: also likely Michaux
