MotoCove on KTM E

Went to MotoCove Sat night to camp and ride on Sun. It was cold:)

KTM E did great (would be unstoppable w/ the orig gummy rear tire put back on.) Greg broke his Husky TE310 in one of the rock gardens (his flywheel key sheared again) so he rode my 150XCW for a bit. Alex still has trouble w/ his even older Husky overheating in the same and bailed later in the day. Was windy and cold sitting still but I wouldn't have wanted it to be any hotter when we were working hard. Dan was the only one w/ a gummy mounted (Ibex) and it showed.

I broke my Quadlock mount the last ride I did and didn't figure it out until this ride. So I left my phone in my pocket and didn't take many pics.

Is that first picture part of a jeep trail...having trouble placing where that is.

We call it the waterfall. There is a sign at the bottom but I don't remember the name. My map doesn't have names and Dan was the only one w/ the official map. We went up it first time we were there. Came down it this time. Not single track for sure.

Edit: I recorded a GPX track so I'll try to figure out where it was. We rode it last. W/ all the Husky problems we stayed on the southern end of the property this time.

Edit2: Looks like this is the section. About 600' of elevation change.

So would be on the left heading out the blue loop if riding clockwise. Lots of jeep climbs off that side that just go up and dead end where jeeps stop chewing. Need to get back down there again....lots of good stuff. Wanted to take trials bike and climb to top of that ridge and look to the south...just never done it yet. When things get warm I think I hear rattle sounds from those rock piles and turn around.
