So... did you ever figure out how a tire broke some studs and came off despite several lug nuts remaining?

Just saw this! Nope, just fixed it and took it home. Been keeping an eye on things since but it made it down to southern VA and back with no further issues.

Well, they're not so new anymore but yes. One of them decided to depart the pattern.
