Sure they will be around for years to come, but gas will become harder and more expensive as time goes on after they do finally ban IC-

I get it. They're trying to set a goal and motivate toward it. Still, it's hard to imagine enough capacity for production and infrastructure rolling out in the next 10 - 12 years to make it happen. Hell, nobody can make cars now that have all the standard features they advertise due to parts availability.
