I've made a few hard landings in my day. One might have required some work and replacement parts on the plane. But jeez, I've never felt like my in ineptitude required me to meat sack bomb someone's back yard. Yikes!

I'm guessing he went back there and opened the door to vomit and fell out. Anything you try to put out a cockpit window is coming right back in on you.
