You guys always come through when in need so I’ll ask up here. I just picked up a brand used 17ktm 1290 Adv r and it has a nice Karoo 3 up front and a pretty street Funlop rear. If anyone semi local to the Montgomery/ Fredrick area has a more dirt oriented rear tire they want to donate/sell let me know. The front I have has probably 2-3 k miles left on it so I don’t want to just pitch it for a complete new set if I can help it. Thanks for looking in advance. Image

IIRC, JTs had a rear Karoo 3 on closeout when we were there a month or so ago. There were several tires down in the service area that were great deals Might be worth calling them.

What is the rear tire on it now? I started using Dunlop Trailmax Missions on my GS. They don't look that dirt worthy but they hook up surprisingly well. I understand people are having a hard time finding them right now.

It’s the Dunlop. Your right it doesn’t look like it’ll do what I want offroad which was why I wanted to replace it.
