Today’s ride

After a couple weeks with Covid, I’m starting to feel way better and took off on the bike. Backroads to Bellevue, ferry to Oxford, a cold one at Capsize, and about to head home. Life is good.
And I really wanted to make Bucho’s DS ride but just wasn’t up to it. Next time.

Sweet John. There are so many nice backroad rides on the eastern shore. You can easily spend the day riding nice roads or head to the coast, go eat some fresh seafood and cruise back. I like to ride up to Chesapeake City from Queenstown on backroads. There are some nice places in Chesapeake City to have lunch.

Nice ride report.
My favorite day ride out of Annapolis is over to Denton on 404 then 16 down through the farms and little towns to Cambridge; then in to the Blackwater loop through the swaps. That's a nice twisty road through and very little if any traffic down there with some nice views. If I come back home from Cambridge on 50 then it's about a 200 mile day.
I'm tied up with all manner of commitments for the next two weeks but then my schedule opens up later in October when it should be perfect riding weather there.

I need to get over that bridge and ride with you guys. Its been over a decade, but the farthest we ever got was the Red Eye dock bar on Sundays for lunch
every time we went over.

Whenever any of you want to ride, just let me know. I did the Chesapeake City ride earlier this year. Breakfast in Chestertown, backroads to Chesapeake City, rode along the canal and a couple cold ones. All good.

Im going to piggyback off of this thread. Bc I rode “today”
Informal ride up at Emmitsburg. Just Sam, Stephen, and myself.
I had some fun test riding one of Sam’s new electric bikes. It was a little different but I had a blast riding for an hour or more.
Creek is really low. This spot is usually too deep to cross

Stephen and I also spent some time struggling thru the Hard Enduro Creek Section. (Sam wisely just spectated)
