I've carried a lot of stuff in mine including a whole lot of construction equipment and supplies (it's even been more than once that I cut pipes or boards in half in the parking lot at Home Depot to get them into the back), but that pic with the buckets of dirt and multiple gas cans puts what I've done to shame.
The C7 Corvette actually does hold a *lot* of stuff, as long as most of it isn't tall or can't be laid flat.

Is it wrong that I know that is an ATI bulldog 12ga? The Turks have imported a ton of shotguns recently. Including near perfect parts compatibility Benelli M4 clones now that the Argo gas patent ran out. Many call them "Turknellis".
