The WATR Spring Trail Ride at the Eagle Bay property (King George VA) is scheduled for Apr.23 (rain date May.07)

Was a fun easy day after the hard stuff @ Jim's on Fri/Sat. Rode some short loops w/ the kid. Saw a Cake Kalk OR go by in the pits. Have never seen one IRL so I rode over, introduced myself, and we swapped bikes for a short loop. I rode it as fast as I could :) Its quick but has about half the power of my KTM E or modded SurRon LB. Noticeably less 'snap' off the line. Something is up w/ his front suspension though (its sporting full Ohlins but its missing about half the front travel.) His kid (10yr old and smaller than my 12yr old) was riding a Razor electric that dad had modded w/ an AC drive conversion

Skinny J's wife's inseam was too short to try out the KTM E (he didn't tell me her XTrainer is lowered or I would have brought out the Light Bee.)

Phoo and son made it out too.

The fellow who pulled up beside me had a 890R on the trailer. I told him he was my hero :) He was gone a long time and said he did most of the long loop. Whew! That would be a workout.

WATR said about 165 people registered. Here is a shot of the parking lot fairly early. More cars showed up after that.

Was a great day, and good to see a decent DAMN showing. The kids had a blast, as did parents.
