A really nice day on the bikes. Hard to find issue with good weather, good company, good trails and a day off work. The dirt was a bit dry but fortunately not dusty. I had a lot of fun. My 2 fenders and brake pedal maybe not so much. And, I took my first ride on an e-dirt bike. Pretty cool actually. Much cooler than I had envisioned thinking no clutch would be a big issue...which it wasn't once I quit pulling the rear brake lever in search of the clutch and stopped mashing the air where I expected a brake pedal  Thanks to Stephen and his E-XC for the first joy ride.

This is a cool picture and a gnarly little spot coming out of a decent bit of water into a step formed from a jagged cluster of rocks. Larger and tougher than appreciable by photo.

GREAT day of riding. It was dry and a bit dusty in places. So dry we all rode a line up the creek I don't think any of us have tried before. The battery I had in my KTM-E was getting low and went into red/limp mode about half way up. Enough power to get back to the van and swap it but the reduced power makes climbing rocks a bit crappy so I hopped out mid-creek and spotted for the other guys and took some pics. I have multiple batts now and didn't charge them since we rode at Mountain Ridge last weekend. I still had about 1/2 charge(?) on them so figured that would 'be enough'. The KTM batts don't have a bar graph or anything on them so its hard to know how charged they are w/o plugging into the bike (which only has a crappy bargraph IMO.) One of the things they could improve... Anyway, here are my pics.

HuskyMatt, RickyBobby, and MotoMofo all coming up that same step Bucho showed in his post. Its bigger than it looks and has a rock that wants to catch the bottom of the right fork. Hopefully these pics show its takes some level of 'send' to get up it.
