Emmitsburg, Trail Work/Ride 2/17/24

Saturday 2/17/24, my Emmitsburg spot.

I was hoping I could get a few volunteers to come out and help build a new trail. We’ll also need some volunteers to ride the brand new trail.

This would be good day for guys who are NOT into hardcore single track. Feel free to bring out a quad to haul a chainsaw or other tools around.

Will probably be parking on the PA side near the gray house. (Since new trail area is close by)

Just a couple things since this is now a week away. I have a couple chainsaws. I'm still recovering and shouldn't be running a chainsaw. I'm happy to bring them, if someone wants to use them. Or feel free to bring your own chainsaw.
I think most of the work can be done with hand loppers. I'll bring some extras. I will also bring flagging tape to help mark things.
I'm also happy to cook up some burger or sausages for the gang if people would like this. Let me know.

I'll try to be up there by 0930, we can shoot for 0945 start? mas o menos

We will be parking on the PA side next to the gray house. If you don't know where to go please text me or send me a PM.

One last note, if you are sick (or think you might be sick), please stay home. I promise there will be another time to come play in the future

I haven't been up in quite a while. I'm going to try to make it to help out. When it gets closer, I'll check in to see if I need to bring my chainsaw or other trimming tools. That's the last day of my kid's spring break from college so I'll need to clear it with my homies.

I put it on my calendar. I'll see if I can use that as a motivator to readjust the valves on my quad to see if that quiets it down.

Ill definitely need some dirtbike riders to test things.
But yeah, bring quads or whatever to help with work. I dont think Ive seen Bruce’s cfmoto quad.

Well, that's what I get for not having an up to date calendar. Looks like the day is/was already booked day and night and I didn't realize it. I'll make sure I'm at the next one.
