Guys I think I might be selling my baby Ive had this car for about 12 years and its got 345k miles. Its been parked for the last few years at a buddies house in his garage. He painted it for me almost two years ago. He did a full paint job with windows removed, jams painted, and he had to replace some sheet metal. If I could only tell you the places and people me and this little GTi have been and met. I recently got offered a really really sweet deal on an 00 xr650r that looks like it belongs in a showroom, and to help come up with the money I would sell the GTi. Theres alot that needs done to it to make it the way I want it, and I dont think I got the time. I dont have a garage for it and it just stays covered up in the driveway. Im worried that it wont last long outside under a cover and asked a buddy who is a bigger vw head than I was if he wanted to buy it and I dont think I want to tell you the price we settled on Im really up in the air with this right now and my buddy think Im just talkin out my ass again, so what the hell do I do

Let him know its not a daily driver anymore but I guess it could be but its too nice for that now, I'm TAKING OFFERS and it does need a few things. I just picked up a edlebrock downdraft carb setup for it, I was gonna junk the cis fuel injection.
Brian your going to miss it when its gone. I've had 12 chevelles over the years and i miss evry one of them but i also don,t like to see a car sit i think if some one else can enjoy the car as much as you have i say let it go and and buy the bike. Also you are right if it sits out side for long without being used its a goner.
