Re: Winter Meet N' Greet/ get yer' DAMN jersey

Hey Pat,

I was thinking Crabcakes, I haven't seen my COG Boyz yet this year; but then Granville moved his western MD ride to the same weekend and I really have a hankerin to get off-road; but then my rental house went vacant so I have a 5 bedroom house to paint from top to bottom to get it ready ...

Re: Winter Meet N' Greet/ get yer' DAMN jersey

Firebolter,

Very nice looking 950R there! A few years ago I replaced the stock cans on my DL1000 with Remus titanium. Together with the Power Commander and K&N filter maybe added 3 ponies. But the real gain was losing 20 pounds, yes 10 pounds per can! Hope that you got a better power/weight ratio ...

Re: DR handle bars and other stuff

Forgot to mention, the KLR bars sit atop 1" risers from Bierdo (dirtly.com?). Makes a nice position for me.

Yeah, they look tweaked.....ready for the scrap pile?

Re: DR handle bars and other stuff

Like Bucho said, Jesse is a real nice guy and the guru of all things DR. Give him a call.

I replaced the oem bars on my DR350SE with KLR650 bars and that works really nice for me. A little wider and hand guard mounts slide right into the hollow ends of the KLR bars.

Hi from Virginia

Hi guys, I just got registered, thanks for the help, Kyler.

I'm near Luray, VA and ride mostly in the Mountain State, whenever I can. All dual sports 'cept the Ninja 250 commuter. Do a little track riding at Summit Point, too.

I met 3 or 4 of you at the Shen 500 this year, a very fun event ...

Thanks, Jay! I hope to get up towards MD more,
We'll see what the weather holds ...

Re: 2' nd Annual Black Friday Ride

Hate to see you miss a cheap hall pass, Jay  but Sunday would work well for me. Weather is supposed to be decent, sunny, near 60? The DR350 needs some exercise, it's owner, too.

Keep us posted!
