I overheard Skinny-J saying his bike was for sale and he was getting something he could handle...
I could never handle that thing; but I just noticed the color at least matches my helmet...
I had not done the Hammer before as I had always thought NJ would be flat and boring. Yes, it is pretty flat but it was definitely not boring and there is some awesome single track to be had!! I had a great time and will plan to be back next year.
Many thanks to Jr for letting me crash in the deluxe pop-up, to WF and Dirtygirl for the grub, to my travel companions Paul and Windy and to the rest of the DAMN crew who are the reason these events are so much fun!!!

Tried the camera chest mount for the first time on the bike. Didn't work out too well. Got lots of footage looking down at the tank and bars, and plenty more looking up at the sky. Threw together this short vid with a couple of the clips that were usable.
Cheap fixes are the best fixes. New fuel filter (did you know you should be able to blow air through them easily?) and new fuel lines and that engine sputtering and dieing problem I had at the Hammer Run is gone. Now it runs better on the street than it ever did.
