Geez you people...update your mapsource, it's free. Go to help, then check for updates...you'll end up with a better version then before. The new mapsource is much nicer...trust me. Here's the gpx files as promised...

Jason....one thing I was curious about... how many miles are you intending to cover in 1 day? I noticed that just getting there was close to 294. A mix of paved, and dirt/gravel.

I didn't wanna sound like a pansy ass

, so I'm glad we can point fingers your way since you spoke first on that ken

, but I'd have to kinda agree, i know...

. Not so much because of the amount of miles, but the types of roads and then the amount of people that are coming. Obviously, some are going to be slower then others (slow will be me...yeah you heard me, I don't intend on loosin' another strom

).
You guys all have the route now...so I think it's open to conversation.

I have gone down to Franklin Wv and back in a day.... I have taken a longer route to pie and still made it back in time.. The ride down to Brandwine should be about 4 hours.. If you check my gps/x file - the time to get to brandwine is 4 hours and it's 150 miles fairly direct route ...
The ride from pie will be less - but how much so right now I can't say.. I am figuring on 8-1 to get down to wva with stop and lunch - then riding till 5 - in aug that should leave plenty of time/light to setup - chill and drink adult beverages...
You guys aren't afraid of some miles now ... are ya...
Speaking of planning .. I need a confirmation that smokehole goes all the way thru n/s .. It shows that way on Google Maps - but not on my garmin software...
