Noaa issued a report of 12-20+" to be expected for friday into sat. Thurs. into Fri freezing rain and sleet are forcasted for Cheraw, sc. and Charlotte, nc. Sat., Cheraw is expect 2" or more rain throughout the day. Am pretty p.o'ed now because I am/was really looking forward to this, being your guys first event, and something to mark the start of a good thing. However, on the same token I'm being asked by the wife, and asking myself, "is it worth it" (not worried about my driving skills but other idiots). Which leads me to my next question, at what point is our cut off for letting the inn know what's going on with our reservations? And I'm assuming the only thing we have to go by whether they're going thru with the race is on adv.?.

I'm sure ADV and the sandblast site are the only places they'll announce. Bucho and I leave in the AM and I'll cancel your room when I get there. you have my cell so call me and leave a message if you don't want me to cancel it
I'd stay home if I was in your shoes.

really want to go for moral support, and because of everything we've been working towards. Will give ya a call tomorrow and let ya know. If we decide to back down and they charge anything for the room, let me know and I'll cover it! If you pay for it, and don't tell me.. I'll be PISSED!
You guys hoping to be there bout 4/5 then?

I hope they don't cancel it.
Ken's truck is 4-wheel drive. Besides Ken and I did some snow training the other week. You can go pretty fast in snow, (its just hard to stop...)

Good luck guys! Two feet of snow just adds to the challenge, I certainly doubt they'll cancel the rally for it as adverse conditions are kind of the point...
Suddenly fairly happy I'm not going however.

No worries, if it weren't snowing I'd be working anyways.
