Ovo, Ovo, Ovo ... we buy you books and send you to school and what do you do? :screwy:
I was right behind him when he did it, he got up pretty quickly, but wasn't too quick to get back on. Luckily we were heading back to lunch so he could get it cleaned up.

I'll just say those who go next week are going to have a lot of fun...

Is Ron okay? Was just a flesh wound or was there serious damage to his knee/leg?

Yes I am fine. Might go get it checked out tomorrow, had other matters on hand that delayed real medical attention. But let me say Rich did a great jog getting me fixed up, taped up and I returned to the battle for part 2, this time my my knee pads on.. Not sure that was a wise thing, as the later part of the days was whoops, tight single track skills and one hill climp, which I failed at...LOL

All in all Great day and man can Rich ride. You guys will have a blast. There is so much information given that I am still trying to aborb it all. Now I will try post a picture from my phone..if it doesn't work, I will try tomorrow when I get home.

So... Sandy lane was a bust. I didn't get a tenth of a mile into the woods before hitting whoops and my throttle sticking open. On a trail. I was actually glad to only go over the bars trying to stop.

On the plus side, yesterday Rich gave me a tip on something to look for - a worn slide in the carb. Wear can make it stick, and it is most common to happen on whoops. Meh.

On the plus side, this happened right at the start instead of out in the middle of nowhere. Too bad it was still after a hotel room and a $50 entry fee.

Phoo,

Sorry to hear this, especially after all the effort you went through to arrange to make the ride.

I'll trade you a worn slide for a busted case......
