Sorry Guys,
The weather forecast for Western, MD is calling for too much rain this weekend. Saturday does'nt look too bad, Sat. night and Sun. looks like it's probably Noah's Ark time.
I am going to have to close down camp Granville this weekend
.
I'm sure 5-15/16 and 6-5/6 will be good

.

we are still on for Kitzmiller at Wolfs Den, This weekend is a pretty big shin dig for us pilot guys, but i will probably just bring the KTM, There will be LOTS of food, lots of toys from Pilots to ATVs to Bikes, Lots of riding and pretty sure its still $10. a day just stop at the big house with the big flag just before the entrance gate, pay $10 to Doug or Sherri
they are west of Kitzmiller at end of shallmar rd, just follow the river up on Main St from Rt. 38 in kitzmiller, folks will be there starting today thru sunday. I am sure Leo, Rick, Daryll and the rest of the local crew will be there most of the weekend too.

I pre ran some of the route this evening to check on conditions after the harsh winter. I did it all on supermoto wheels and tires at 30 PSI (rear). I did bury it to the axles in a few spots, but those were off the intended route.
Things are looking good.
I still intend to run my dirt wheels and DOT knobbies, but those with the skill and desire should be able to do the ride on SM wheels/tires (as long as it stays dry enough). Even in the wet, it won't be any worse than our SM ride last October.
Those on 50/50 type tires will do fine.

Uh mdubya what's the cheapest hotel in Oakland? I'll be out that way on friday and probably stay saturday night too. I don't really want to do 190 miles before or after this ride!

Oakland Motel

Drove by many times, but never stayed there. It's right in town and I think they have a diner, but if not there's McD's and Sheetz nearby.
