Well, this sucks even more. I have now been shutdown by Capitol Hill Police. I have had it for today. I have all the approvals and letters from everyone and their mother including the head ofb the Capitol Hill Police! This was a good 15K day for nothing!!!

I am heading the heck out of this foolish town.

Thanks Mike for another awsome ride full of the best roads in WV/MD! Thank you Sam for lunch! My turn next time. Glad to meet the rest of you DAMN fools! Great looking day & nobody went down , however we did have a 16.5% tire failure rate.

Mike, thank you again for an awesome ride! I'm glad I tried out the sumo tires on a dual-sport ride...confidence inspiring (also butt puckering). It ended up being a 22 hour day by the time I got home but absolutely worth every minute! Thanks to Sam for lunch. Please tell Pedro thanks again for dinner! My wife will be in contact soon. Awesome time all around. I have about 12 miles of riding around here if you feel like making the trip, haha.

Great ride everybody. It was mdubya, dom08, Pa_trailrider,
biffer99, BigBird, and me. Made it home with only a medium
stripe in my unders. Maybe that was from hallucinating on
the apparition behind the trees, a rather large windmill blade.
What a mix of surfaces: pavement, gravel of sizes and thicks,
rocks, and combos. Two flats were effectively bubba'd with
Fix um Flat. Well, gotta go, more gravel dust boogers.
Thanks for everything: route, lunch, tow...

Great stuff guys! Thanks so much for coming out. We had the perfect group. All smiles, all willing to follow their leader right over the edge.

Biffer and Daryl get the Iron Man awards. What dedication!

Sam gave him a trailered ride to Frederick. Daryl had ridden out on the Interstate in the AM (early AM at that!).

We weren't quite as tired at the end of this ride as we were on the May 22 ride. I think we were all in better ride shape. We were definitely in excess of 200 miles again. And this one started at 10:15 and ended at 8:00 PM! :-o

We had a couple of unexpected delays with the pinched tubes, but nothing extraordinary. One was fixed in 9 minutes according to the bank clock in Parsons. :deal:

Well,
It sounds like everyone had a great time. I apologize for not being able to attend. I really was ready for this one but I needed to help a friend/co-worker. It ended up I was done early, shut down by caitol hill police and almost in trouble. Maybe next one!!!!!

Thanks again mdubya for setting up a good safe time for fellow riders!!!!
