Too late - you are hereby anointed... :whip:

now then, the next hard question is when. My wife has a medical appointment next Monday at Johns Hopkins and maybe we'll know then what is going on and I'll have a better idea of if or when I can go.
How about tenatively 22-23rd of August - it's one month out from now - ie plenty of time to plan and prep and it's still two weeks away from Labor Day for those going to the PB

Shaun and I have a track day that weekend, but if the date works for everyone else don't let that hold you back.

So no excuses hondahawkrider :)
Read my lips - it has street tires on it - ie roadmasters as in NO offroad capability ie more for this ... I would rather have the lighter bike for this

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8& ... 09369&z=10

After WV-28/WV-55 on that map there is a right turn public road 75 which is a nice graded dirt road that is really sweet. It's up around 4k feet in elevation and runs through Dolly Sods (100% legal) and past bear rocks it's pretty freaking senic..

Awesome - would this be what you are talking about

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&ms ... 86145&z=11

if so - we will call that detour 1.. Ie if there is enough time left in the - we can take that to smokehole rather than the road listed....

That's it. It's pretty straight and fast. Me and Shaun where doing between 55 and 65 on the 950's (my adv his SM).

This also looks like fun.... http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&ms ... 86145&z=11

detour #2 - that could be used in either direction - ie - if we go south to Durbins and Take PR 44 - we could take this route back towards seneca rocks..

there is also a campground on Smokehole... I'm not sure if that was clear I was just trying to add another datapoint.

I believe this is the campsite on smoke hole... N38 54.711 W79 15.670 I'm not 100% on it though.
