I might have a problem, but I want to see what you guys think. The Muzzy exhaust on my KLX does NOT have a stamp or anything else on it to indicate it has a spark arrestor. I checked Muzzy's website, and they say the spark arrestor is an option, that must be purchased seperate from the exhaust system.
Am I screwed, or is there a way to see if I have the arrestor installed?

I think you will be fine. IIRC, their tech inspection didn't look to closely.

Poke (gently) something, like a screw driver, into the end of your exhaust, if it stops after a little ways you have an arrester, if it goes all the way into your muffler, then you don't.

Wifey is encouraging me to do this, so why fight her.... Just need some NOOB info on this. How will a stock KLR 650 do? What should I bring? Is there a group riding or mainly trailering? I am in Wheaton is any one meeting on the way to travel together? I have never rode in the woods just came from El Paso, TX all desert and dune riding what advice to give? One last important question how can I get a DAMN jersey????? Thanks
