Dont worry about hitting rocks in NJ Dude. (But there are trees)

I'd do another PineBarrens trip. No single track or firecuts, just open sandroad blasting.
Has anyone been to Pocamoke State Park in eastern MD? I know its fairly sandy there, but never been. Not sure if that would be helpful for a training run.

Dude, why do you want a TW200? I get the fat tires, but seriously the bike is geared very low and makes very little horsepower. I"m not really putting the TWs down, but they aren't made for high speed rallymoto.

I haven't looked over the regs, but there used to be a prohibition on riding the area 60 days prior to the event. If we're heading to SC we need to leave before December. After that, it's NJ in the cold winter months. I'd head out by myself, however that tends to end with me dragging the brother-in-law out of bed at 3am to drive 3 hours and find me in the woods somewhere. Then a 3-4 hour extraction of the bike from whatever rock I Excalibur-ed into. Anyone else interested?
NJ is the perfect practice area. We've been kicking around doing a practice session there - I'm game!
Guess who's boss just notified him he's on notice to head to Jersey several times the next several months. Anyone know of some off road and sand riding near Picatinny?

TW's are just fun, light, awesome bikes. I bet a beginner on a TW-200 could outperform the bottom 1/3rd of the competitors at Sandblast.

If I get some time off eventually, I'd like to head out. I keep meaning to get time to get a Tag and to place it out at Pocomoke to give the ADV people something else to complain about other than "Its too far west!" or "Its too close to the city!".

Get with The Dude Himself - he needs a second to negotiate the reduced early registration fees.

I'm actually hoping to hook up with a dude from Jersey for this as well. But first I need to check with work - I'm supposed to be out of town that week - but might not make it back from San Diego until Friday afternoon - which would blow my plans unless someone could drag my bike down and through tech - I'd likely land just in time to make the NASA course.

We can get your bike there - don't use that as a DAMN excuse! :nono:

but you have to be there in time for the new rider orientation.

If I caught the red-eye out of San Diego I'd land at Charlotte at 645am. I'd have a two hour drive to get to Cheraw, puts me there at 9am with no sleep, but could work. I'm really hoping I can make this happen.
