DAMN Riders - No rules, Just ride!

I went out to Greenridge yesterday with my son. He hasnt ridden in a long time. Weather was kinda hot but with his busy schedule figured it was now or some unknown date in the far future.

He rode my TW. Nice afternoon, very few people out there.

Carroll Rd was possibly closed on one side (but not from the other?). They had some washouts and bad ruts in spots. But no real issue for even novice moto riders.

We got a late start and I didnt get to explore some of the other fun roads. Will have to go back another time.

I always liked Greenridge.

I haven't been to Greenridge since they closed the ORV loop; that has to be 10+ years now. BUT.... I recently picked up a couple of dual sport bikes for my son and me, and he will be going to college at WVU which is only like 2 hours from GR. GR might be a good half-way spot for us to meet up for a weekend ride. I will have to noodle on a fall GR camp and ride; maybe get the whole DAMN contingent out there....

Bucho, SJ, and anyone else -- if you find you're heading to green ridge or doing any other dual sporting on a weekend, let me know. My kid and I would love to join you. Especially me, with him heading off to college next month... *sniff*

Greenridge is fun and Id like to go back and check out some of the other roads. However, I much prefer to do those kind of rides during the week. (Can be too crowded on weekends)

Ah, that makes sense. Well, if things line up sometime, that would be sweet.
