Getting the DRZ ready for the early season.

I think I got about all I could out of this one.

as I recall, the last tire you replaced was showing cord. You slacking or something?

It is tough to get that last bit out of 'em in the snow.

I will have to inspect closer though. This one may be showing a wee bit of cord. :ride:

Wow. I'm out of touch with street tires. It's remarkable how close to a slick the new one is. Exciting in heavy rain I bet. :lol2:

How do you SM guys manage to retain your license? I think I'd make it about a week...

Mike,
I'm surprised you had that much tread left on the side! I'm searching for a set for the DR as we speak. I think I'm going to try Conti SM tires... The Avon tires didn't last long enough.

West Virginia. I stay well off the beaten path. The fact that the DRZ won't go much faster than 90, maxed out, helps.

It's more the backing into corners, wheelying, etc. that I think would get me busted... :rickey:

Out here, once you are outside of town, it is a free for all. :rickey:

Every little town, though, you must toe the line so that you are not mistaken as an open revenue source for the local PD.
